Matchbox Jewelry Box

Matchbox Jewelry Box

Supplies:
Stacked box kit (ClubScrap)
45 small matchboxes
45 brads
4 cup hooks
Rubberstamps
Ink

Instructions:
I picked these matches up at the dollar tree.
2. Dump matches out of boxes and remove from covers, rubberstamp one end of the box/drawer:
3.  Ink the stamped end with blue ink:
4.  Punch a hole in the center of the drawer and add a brad:
5.  Put the drawers back into their sleeves and glue sleeves together:
You will need to create 2 stacks of 18 boxes and 1 set of 3x3 boxes as shown

6.  Paint the end of the sleeves white (this way the bright red won't show on final project).
7.  Now make the LARGE stacked box using the ClubScrap instructions.

8.  Now we are going to use some of the pieces from the MEDIUM stacked box to create the innards of the jewelry box.  Take the 'short wall' pieces and cut to 4 1/8 inch long; cut the 'long wall' pieces to 7 5/8 inch long.  Paint these pieces white.  On the top piece screw in the 4 hooks, spacing evenly.
 9.  Glue the short pieces to the long pieces, place in box with match boxes as shown.  Let dry.
10.  Decorate front of box and add decorative handle at top.

The majority of the materials used in this project are from ClubScrap. TFL DebDuzScrappin
